Neighbour

Rosi Weiss is interested in stories. Stories with edges and corners. With irregular, lively and quirky personalities. She succeeds brilliantly in realising this with the chainsaw. The faces and figures remain angular, irregular, lively and oblique. She always looks forward to the step of filling the figures with colour.

She studied art education at the ZHdK. She learned to chainsaw at home in the garden (Thank you neighbour!). She now owns a small workshop in Affoltern am Albis. She also performs puppet theatre plays with the FRANZ theatre ensemble and teaches part-time in a kindergarten. She likes the variety and being in motion.
