Relance - or the revival of an artistic treasure

The mixture of clever, poetic, often surprising artistic results and modesty made Tony Lädrach a person. But the quiet man was actually a rebel, an anti-artist: "Art as such, with all its tendencies, developments, theoretical and philosophical considerations, is a foreign world to me." The art world, prestige and reputation, did not interest him. He did not look outwards, but inwards.

Tonyl was torn from life in 2009 in the middle of his extremely intense creative work. His great work lives on.

Tonyl formed the objects on display out of clay, which he coated with plaster. Then he scraped the clay out of the plaster and poured polyester into the empty mould. He smashed the plaster and worked the plastic surface further. Each figure is guaranteed to be unique - the result of a lengthy process.
